Shopping Cart User Interface / Display features:

• Multi-Column Search Results
  Search results can be displayed in a single column, or in multiple columns. Easily set in the Site Admin, simply enter how many columns wide you want you display to be and the site's display adjusts accordingly.
• More product images!
  Cartweaver 3 helps you display your products more effectively. In addition to the "thumbnail" and "large" image, we've introduced a "small" image perfect for display with the up-sell items and within the show cart page. We've also added an "expanded" image that shows in a pop-up when the large image in the product's detail page is clicked. *It's a proven fact that more product images result in more sales! • Dynamic dependant Category/Subcategory search
  The shopper can now choose the category they are interested in from the first select box and the second select box will be populated based on their selection.
• Infinite Product Options
  As a customer selects product options the additional available options are populated based on the previous selection. Now products with hundreds of SKUs are displayed elegantly and allows for a user-friendly selection process.
• Instant Price Display
  As the shopper selects their choice of product options, the price displayed is automatically adjusted to show the price of their current selection.

  Set a "store wide" discount

• Set from and to dates
  Set discounts to start and end on pre set dates

  If more than one discount exists Cartweaver will apply only the one that gives the customer the best deal and ignore the others.
  

Powerful FlexTax System

Cartweaver has always been "international friendly" but there has been a need to better handle the various different tax systems... We've got tax covered! Cartweaver's new FlexTax system supports Canadian tax and VAT tax with the following features...

• Create General Tax
• Create Tax Groups - such as states or countries
• Create Tax ID numbers
• Choose to display tax IDs or not
• Display price both with and with out tax if desired (Necessary for VAT Tax)
• Display tax by line items
• Charge tax on shipping, or not
• Mark individual products as taxable and non-taxable

Admin Improvements

There have been a number of both subtle and significant changes to the web-based store Admin.

• Tabbed interface for the products page:
  The products page contains a lot of information which can become rather cumbersome if a product has a number of SKUs. The new tabbed interface breaks the data into logical groups and make product management much easier!
• Easier access to some store settings:
  A number of store settings have been removed from the Global Settings file, where they were not accessible to the merchant, and placed in the Admin making them easier to manage and change when needed.
• Improved image upload and handling:
  Product images are now part of the product tabbed interface and allow easy maintenance of now up to four images per product
• New Admin sections to handle new features:
  New Administrator configurable functions have been added to support new discount and tax features.
• New Admin access levels
  Now you can easily set access levels for your admin users to see all the new admin features and settings or limit a user to seeing only the features necessary for the day to day maintenance of your store.

Upgrading from version 2 made easier!

Upgrade now and update your CW2 sites to CW3! Cartweaver 3 includes a script that will create the new database tables and fields, allowing you to continue using the same database you've been using for your CW2 sites. Follow a few simple steps and you'll have a Cartweaver 2 database converted into a Cartweaver 3 database in minutes.

Also included are detailed instructions on changes necessary migrate your CW2 site to CW3. You'll find that if you are running a standard installation of most recent version of Cartweaver 2, updating to version 3 is a very straight forward process.
