Cartweaver 3 ASP
can be quickly installed into your web site using the Cartweaver extension suite for Dreamweaver (CS3/8/MX 2004).

We aimed to make the Cartweaver experience as similar as possible despite the programming language you choose. To that end, there are few areas in Cartweaver ASP that are just a little bit different due to the differences in the programming language itself.
- ASP Debugger - Complete debugging information directly on the site. Find out exactly what the application is doing through our custom-built debugging functions. Unlike ColdFusion, ASP does not offer a built-in debugger so we built one for you. You can easily enable or disable debugging at any time. View a screen shot
- Extra Code Snippets - Code snippets are included for each of the more than 35 VB Script functions used through Cartweaver ASP. Each snippet includes the function, each argument and a description of the function.

Server Requirements
Your host must be using a
Windows NT 4.0 Server or higher.
Cartweaver ASP uses several components to handle the functionality of your store. The server hosting your store should have an XML component for processing payments through third party gateways, a mail component for sending order confirmation emails, and if possible (though not required), a file upload component for increased performance when uploading images through your browser.
If you're not sure what you need or if your host supports it, download the Cartweaver ASP Requirements Checker and upload it to any folder on your server. Simply browse to the file online to find out if your host meets the minimum requirements to run Cartweaver ASP.

Database
Cartweaver 3 ASP supports either Microsoft Access 2000 or higher or Microsoft SQL Server 7 or higher. The server must support one of these databases. Cartweaver ASP does not support MySQL.

System Requirements
Although Cartweaver has been specially developed to work within the Adobe Dreamweaver developments environment, Cartweaver can be customized and modified in HomeSite+ or any other code editor.
In order to work with the Cartweaver 3 Extension Suite, Cartweaver ASP
requires a Windows operating system or Macintosh OSX system that meets or exceeds the minimum operating requirements of Adobe Dreamweaver CS3, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8, or Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, however Windows 98 is not supported.
In order to test locally, you must have an operating system that supports IIS. Cartweaver supports Windows 2000 Professional and Windows XP Professional only. Windows ME and Home editions of Windows XP are not supported. Windows 98 and Personal Web Server (PWS) are not supported. Macintosh systems are not supported for local testing of Cartweaver 3 ASP.
For testing purposes, you must either have Internet Information Services (IIS) locally, or an available remote server*. It is highly recommended that you set up a local testing environment. Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional both include a local version of IIS on the installation CDs. See the Windows documentation for installation and setup instructions.

Licensing
Cartweaver is licensed to the individual developer and may be used and modified as much and as often as the developer wishes. A developer may use Cartweaver to develop as many e-commerce web sites for himself/herself or as many of his/her clients who are the end user/merchant as desired. Cartweaver may not be given, loaned, or resold, in whole or in part, by the licensee/developer to any other party for the purpose of web or application development.
